Chocolate Fruit Cups
Gluten Free/Dairy Free/Peanut Free/Sugar Free
Ingredients For Chocolate
1/2 Cup Raw Cacao Powder (I use Organic Traditions)
2-3 Tablespoon Raw Coconut Oil
1 Teaspoon Raw Honey (If you are not a fan of bitter chocolate you can add honey for a natural sweet taste)
Ingredients For Filling
This is where you get creative and choose your favourite fruits, nuts/seeds or other fillings to compliment your chocolate cup. In this occasion I chose bananas and raspberries.
Directions In Making Chocolate
Melt coconut oil on medium heat in small sauce pan, once melted turn off heat, add cacao powder and honey (If used).
In chocolate moulds pour melted chocolate half way to make the base of your chocolate cups. Take a small brush and brush along the sides of the cups with more chocolate and place in freezer for 15 minutes.
While your chocolates are in the freezer start you’re filling. This is easy!! All you have to do is place your banana, raspberries or choice of filling into a blender and blend until smooth. (separately of course, unless you are doing a duel fruit center)
Once chocolate is frozen remove from freezer and scoop in your fresh filling.
Warm up your left over chocolate & pour on top of moulds and place into freezer. Freeze for 1-2 hours.
Once frozen turn moulds over and pop them out & enjoy!!
Best kept in freezer.
