Healthy sweet treats

With having such a restricted diet my mind is often on the look out for new things to create even if I cant eat it myself, which……..happens most of the time but thats okay, it allows me to become creative & provide healthier options for those I love and those who are looking to have a treat without having to feel guilty afterwards.

Two quick and easy treats I make………….

Banana Almond Icecream  – Makes 2 serving


2 Frozen bananas                              
Hand full of raw almonds


Blend in a high speed blender (ex. Vitamix, Blendtec)

Quick Tip:  contain one of the highest amounts of potassium an essential mineral for helping to maintain high blood pressure and heart function.

Quick Tip: Almonds contain two very important fatty acids (linoleic and linolenic) which help with inflammation throughout the body.

             Fruit Kaba

You can get creative, all you need is fresh (preferably organic) fruit, & bbq skewers.  Perfect for partys, bbqs or any other occasion.  These are not only easy and fun to create but it helps allow easier access to choosing a fresh and healthy treat.
